Huevo and Vika Images:
Production Notes

My method of producing these images consisted first of extracting the individual frames of the two files (23 for huevo, 7 for vika) as bmp images.  I then converted each frame into an avi file (uncompressed).  After moving the original huevo.avi file in realMyst\Scn\Maps to a different directory, I obtained the huevo and vika images by doing the following for each of the 30 avi files:

1) Rename an avi file "huevo.avi"
2) Move huevo.avi file into realMyst\Scn\Maps directory (if it's not already there)
3) Start realMyst with a savegame that begins in front of the Rime viewer with the Riven image playing (this is generated by the original huevo.avi)
4) Take screen shot of image in viewer (I use the screen capture from Paint Shop Pro)
5) Alt-tab out of realMyst, delete huevo.avi, and repeat process (alt-tab-ing in and out of realMyst works for me; if it doesn't for you, exit and restart)

Some notes on the results:

- As you can tell, I've manipulated these images mainly to brighten them.  I have not tried to get the color balance correct or sharpen them in any way.

- The first and second huevo frames produce the same image, but the first is much grainier than the second.  I have no idea what this means.

- Similarly, the first two frames in vika produce an identical image, but without the difference in quality.  vika also has another set of identical frames (the fifth and sixth).

- Accounting for the duplicate images (which I've included), frob produced one fewer image than I obtained.  I believe a few of his images blend two images together.
